Truly Manipulative
You have to keep your guard up.
Every time I see an 'apology' posted by someone, I tend to want to figure out all of their inaccuracies or verbiage to analyze the 'apology'.
And I tend to find a lot of them have something in common.
They are all truly manipulative.
This isn't something I've just come to realize now, but it's shocking just how many 'apologies' from Youtubers or Influencers have a certain way in which they are worded.
In some cases, they exaggerate how long ago something actually happened. I specifically remember with the YandereDev 'apology'. I believe he said something happened last year but his 'apology' was literally one of the first things to happen in 2025. It was like in January. Do you see what I'm saying?
I'm saying he's using the new year to make something despicable he did seem like it happened a while ago. Which... I'm pretty sure that thing actually happened a few months ago (can't remember exactly when but it was definitely NOT a year ago).
I don't really know why I'm writing this. Maybe it's to warn you about the language people will use in their 'apologies' to make the situation less serious than it is.
Or maybe it's something that irks me that people continuously do in order to try to keep their fanbase unaware and unassuming.
(Who am I kidding, it's both.)
Don't ever take an 'apology' at face value. Don't ever assume the creator or whoever the fuck "wouldn't do something like that".
That's it from me today. Rian out.
