DELVE 02 (sort of): Bake No Hana
Okay, this is going to be different from my blog on The Third Heart mainly because this blog is being made because of a pinterest whisper post I saw.
The post in question is basically stating that they believe that Project SEKAI comms were not sang by all of the members of a unit + a vocaloid.
Which I can say I agree with.
What I didn't agree with perse was a comment under that post, stating that Bake No Hana should have only been sung by Mizuki & Kaito.
To me, I feel like having all four members makes the separation between Mizuki & the other three more impactful. While the other three sing with either each other or KAITO, Mizuki only sings on her own or with KAITO.
It (to me) shows how much Mizuki feels not only disconnected but distrusting of herself. Almost as if she cannot comprehend the idea of singing with the others (not in a pretentious way but in a 'I wasn't able to tell the truth before they (which is technically only Ena iirc) found out themselves'.
It also ties with the master difficulty FC number (1003) showing Mizuki alone with the other three singing with each other.
So no, I personally think the others should not have been omitted.

**Okay, as I look at the lyric distribution, Ena does not share any lines with Kanade or Mafuyu but I feel as if my point stands regardless.
Mizuki is the focus, yes, but the focus is of her finally (attempting to) telling the truth to Ena -> which goes wrong -> ends in her isolation.
Now would it be cool if only her and KAITO sang the song? Yes! But I feel like the right call was made by having all four sing the song (not to mention that is the standard with commission songs).
On a more general note, this song has so many tiny things you can analyze. The master difficulty FC (1003), the song length (1:59), the song BPM (180), the lyric distribtution, etc!
Yeah... I love how much this song makes me think...
